Regal Bank Hosts Free Concert by the B-Street Band

Fans of "The Boss" will be dancing in the dark on August 27, 2016 when the B-Street Band, the original Bruce Springsteen tribute band, plays a free concert in the parking lot of the Springfield branch of Regal Bank. The all-ages show begins at 7:00 p.m.

The B-Street Band has been entertaining crowds since 1980 with chart-topping hits from New Jersey native Bruce Springsteen. They first performed as "Backstreets, a Tribute to the Boss" on May 19, 1980 in Asbury Park as the very first band to do an entire tribute to a live performer, paving the way for the tens of thousands of tribute bands that exist today. The B-Street Band plays about 200 shows each year around the United States.

Will Forte, keyboardist and vocalist for the band, said, "The B-Street Band is proud to have neighborhood Regal Bank as our sponsor for upcoming shows as well as shows over the last several years. For our first Springfield branch performance, we're looking forward to welcoming a big, enthusiastic crowd of Bruce fans."
Branch manager Raul Riveiro said, "We are very excited to host this show at our location. We're big fans of the band and, more than anything, we love to find ways to bring our community together for a good time. It's one more reason that we're not just any ordinary bank."

Regal Bank has sponsored many shows by the B-Street Band over the past decade. The popular tribute band is a regular crowd pleaser in the annual Livingston Summer Concert Series, sponsored by the bank.

The branch is located at 899 Mountain Avenue in Springfield, NJ. For more information, call the branch at 973-671-1086.
