If you thought you were listening to Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band on July 26th, 2009 at the Livingston High School auditorium, you weren't. It was close though; you were listening to "The BSTREET BAND", the world's longest running tribute band. They are the original Springsteen tribute band, rock'n Bruce fans since 1980. The concert, sponsored by Regal Bank, was held as part of the Livingston Summer Concert Series.
The music was flowing; the people were dancing and beach balls were flying overhead. It was outrageous! The band played songs made famous by New Jersey's own Bruce Springsteen. It was obvious that everyone in attendance wanted the concert to go on indefinitely.
Regal Bank employees Jim Carey, Andria Sztojka, Fernanda Monteiro, Maureen Bonvenca, Peggy Ross, Christina Slater, Donna Pritchard, Carol Fanslau, Rich Cimo, Sean Howland and Monte Ehrenkranz were all in attendance, helping the crowd enjoy themselves, and having a good time as well. The families and friends of the employees were also there and assisted in distributing water bottles, beach balls and lots of other goodies as the concert goers entered the venue.
A good time was had by all and plans are being made for a return concert next year!
