Regal Bank continues its tradition of sponsoring the Livingston Summer Concert Series with free live musical events every Sunday in July. All concerts take place at the Gazebo at Memorial Field from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
It is suggested that those attending bring along blankets or chairs for the performances. Picnics are also welcome at Memorial Field, Livingston's version of the Great Lawn in Central Park. In inclement weather, shows will be held in the Livingston High School Auditorium.
Livingston Summer Concert Series Schedule:
Sunday, July 6 - The Kootz - Classic Rock
Sunday, July 13 - Manhattan Skyline - Doo-Wop
Sunday, July 20 - The British Invasion Tribute - Covers of Famous British Bands
Sunday, July 27 - The B-Street Band - Longest Running Bruce Springsteen Tribute Band
In addition to free, family-friendly entertainment, the concert series will feature many special giveaways. New this year is a photo contest. Concert attendees are invited to snap pictures and post them to Twitter and Instagram with the hashtag #RegalBankConcert during the shows.
At the end of each performance, one photo will be announced as the weekly contest winner based on these criteria: creativity and originality (25%), aesthetics (25%), overall engagement (25%) and fit to the theme (25%). Each weekly winner will receive a $50 gift card. At the end of the series, one grand prize winner will be chosen to receive a $100 gift card. Visit the Regal Bank Facebook page for complete contest rules.
"The Livingston Summer Concert Series is one of our favorite community events to sponsor. It's a wonderful opportunity to get together with friends and neighbors and celebrate the town and the season with fantastic music," said Monte Ehrenkranz, vice president of business development. "And this year, we're looking forward to viewing all of the fun #RegalBankConcert fan photos."
